WASHINGTON (The Daily Whatever Wire) Milo Yiannopoulos spent January 25, 2025 — day 5 the new Trump administration — doing math on X about how efficiently ICE could deport people. 90,000 employees, he figured, 10,000 deportations a day, that’s nine agents per illegal… So what exactly was everyone waiting for?

ICYMI, Milo Yiannopoulos got arrested by ICE last Thursday night at the airport in Kenner, Louisiana — the same agency he’s spent the last year asking Congress to arm with “total legal immunity.”
Here’s what actually happened: Yiannopoulos, 41, entered the country legally in May of 2019, blew off his own immigration hearing in July, and got hit with a final removal order by a judge for not showing up to defend himself.
Best part: ICE reportedly picked him up at Louis Armstrong International when he on his way to a freaking Ye concert, because of course he was — the man’s résumé includes a stint as Kanye’s chief of staff. And if you’re going to get arrested by federal agents, do it en route to see the guy you once helped run for president. But we digress.
DHS put out a statement calling him an “illegal alien from the United Kingdom” who “chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws” — the exact vocabulary Yiannopoulos has spent two straight years asking the federal government to use on other people.
This is the guy who posted in June of last year that America needs “ICE checkpoints at supermarket entrances, gas stations, strip malls, intersections and government buildings, with on the spot deportation for anyone who can’t prove they are in the US legally.” The guy who wanted “total legal immunity for ICE agents when they’re on duty.” The guy who said we’ve “got to deport millions and millions of people.”

Here’s the very best part: Milo isn’t in ICE custody because a task force finally caught up with him. He’s in ICE custody because Laura Loomer turned him in. Loomer — who has spent years feuding with Yiannopoulos over roughly nothing, and who claims he once called for her assassination — posted that she reported him to ICE and the FBI herself. It wasn’t over policy or principle. I mean, these two have hated the same things (feminists, trans people, fun) forever.
But their petty, years-long internet MAGA on MAGA pissing match ended with one far-right provocateur snitching on the other, and in Milo’s case, to the exact agency he’d spent a year publicly championing. These are not serious people. They’re people who believe in grudges and scorekeeping, and Loomer just won the round, big time.
We’re not sure who we were supposed to root for here—but hey, we recognize schadenfreude when we feel it. And this is it, big time.
Yiannopoulos spent a decade getting banned from platforms, rebranding, and clawing back into rooms that should’ve locked the door behind him. He built an entire third act on being the dude who wanted immigrants berated and kicked out.
Now he’s sitting in a Louisiana ICE detention facility, hopefully in circumstances at least half as terrible as the ones he wished on others, reported by the one person on the internet who hates him more than the rest of us do combined.
