The lawsuit says her killing was the “surge” working as designed. The White House says it's baseless. We’ll let you guess what we think about what The White House has to say.
This one really stays with me. Renee Good was a mother of three. Whatever anyone’s politics are, her children have to live the rest of their lives without their mother, and that human reality should never disappear underneath political arguments.
I am glad her family has the opportunity to bring their case before a court, where the evidence, the videos, the decisions that were made, and the actions of everyone involved can be examined carefully.
Government authority carries enormous power, and enormous power should always come with accountability. Asking hard questions about how an American citizen ended up dead is not unreasonable. It is exactly the kind of question a functioning system of justice is supposed to examine.
Her family deserves answers, and Renee deserves to be remembered as a person, not simply as another headline people argue about until the next headline arrives.
Podcaster Tim Pool did a deep dive on January 6th, 2026 of the incident involving Renee Good.
He used the video that was being filmed by someone on the sidewalk pointing to the driver's side where one ICE agent was at her car door asking her to get out of the vehicle.
That video clearly shows that Renee Good backed her vehicle up, straightened out her wheels, and accelerated at the agent the vehicle was now pointed at.
Not only does this video show that agent's feet being moved backwards by the vehicle hitting him, but other angle views also show the agent being pushed back by her vehicle.
The video is fairly conclusive that Renee Good, whether she wanted to or not, did accelerate her vehicle while pointing it at an ice officer. And the video also shows that she actually hit the officer with her vehicle.
If the ice officer was not standing on ice covered roads that allowed for his skidding backward, just as her vehicle's tire was spinning on ice covered roads instead of with solid contact for full available thrust, that ice agent would have been run over by that vehicle for sure.
And as it stands, the ice officer was able to react in a split second, pull his weapon and try to stop her from running him over.
No matter what any lawsuit wants to bring forward Tim Pool’s examination as displayed in these social media posts highlighting this scene, posted from Tim Pool's January 6th show, that Renee Good is in the wrong, and caused her own death.
Watch the videos to be convinced one way or the other … watch the videos.
Summary:
Renee, Good and Alex Pretti died because they were just following directions.
Those directions were written in the manifesto, supplied by organizations that are not necessarily funded by American Citizens... But local and yes, some funding is from foreign actors.
These fine people were told to "put their bodies" between the police/ICE Agents and their ability to do their jobs ... and the ICE Agent's job is to remove illegal aliens in order to protect American Citizens by exercising American law.
The very laws that we have voted into place.
Decades of immigration laws, and hundreds of cases already won in court.
The proper thing to do if you want the laws changed is to be in touch with your congresspeople and your senators and demand that they vote for new laws in place that change the way that these agencies are operating.
Simply defunding the agency does not change the law and the law can be enforced even if not by that agency specifically.
If you feel it's really your duty to allow for open borders and illegal aliens to remain in the United States against our already voted for federal rules, then the only way to make change is to pressure your politicians to write the laws to make the change.
But all I see is a group of agents trying to protect themselves from an unruly mob that has been told to " PUT YOUR BODY'S BETWEEN THE POLICE AND WHOEVER THEY'VE COME FOR."
When we voluntarily break the law, we become criminals ourselves. And when we do it as a group like this, which undermines the safety and security of our nation, that is insurrection.
Sorry, there is no case here, or with Alex Pretti.
Bob, I've watched all sorts of videos from many different angles. The fact that you use just one particular video to illustrate your questionable conclusion causes me to suspect you are associated with MAGA.
By also accusing clearly murdered Alex Pretti of insurrection, you remove any shred of doubt that you're making an unbiased observation. Go back to your people. I hear they're serving Kool-Aid. Git!
Dana, I am extremely disappointed that you're willing to back a person who has published such a very prejudicial set of derogatory comments towards me without knowing anything about me, what my politics are, where i'm coming from, or anything other than my willingness to dig beyond the political babble.
Anyone who posts ad hominem attacking language on a debate stage, which substack is, essentially, should be shunned, not celebrated.
Unless all you want is adoration and validation for a political point.
Well, you are encouraging just that.
Where in the discourse, other than from me, where anyone provided proof, receipts if you will, backing the fanciful claim of "Victory for the Good family"?
Show me one article or video that is cut and dry, not a political call to action piece, as we know they are all emotionally tuned to convert thinkers into the sheep.
If you tell me that validation seeking is all you are about, please block me, and I will block you as well.
That way we never have to hear from each other ever again.
Is that fair?
Either way, I appreciated your posting, as it opened up to sharing information behind Blue State regulars. I choose truth and facts over emotional attacks, every single day.
He definitely seems to be MAGA. I've watched videos and those were definitely murder by power hungry ICE thugs. He's trying to defend the indefensible, period. Thank you for speaking up.
The only reason I appear MAGA is my search for what will or won't stand in a courtroom.
That's my background helping Federal prisoners get out of Federal Prisons during COVID. Do you know anybody that risks their lives working with these people? Or try to get them to their families instead of watching them. Die behind bars with no visitors?
Maga my butt.
It absolutely ticks me off about all the courts that started lawsuits and injunction, but got shot down by the Appellate Court or Supreme Court.
So I asked myself, Why?
I can very easily find news reports or Democrat senators and house reps who wring their hands and call it corruption.
And then, I felt I was missing something.
So I read the Article Ii and Article III Rules on the Constitution, and realized which side has what powers.
The entire deal about immigration is based on the set of laws our congressmen and women wrote into the Immigration laws.
And the Constitution states that all of the immigration enforcement, which includes not only ice enforcing those same laws, but the court system that's set up around immigration and all about Visas run by the Department of State.
It is because of that separation of powers and jurisdictions that all of these court cases that we've filed to stop the immigration mess have wound up being overturned by the Supreme Court.
Congress can make the laws and Congress can change the laws. But Congress doesn't enforce the laws, and the Article III Judiciary doesn't enforce immigration laws.
Article II Judges do not adjudicate regular felonies or misdemeanors for theft or carjacking.
Those cases wind up in the Article Iii courts, which are your district judges and are prosecuted by local prosecutors. Both state and federal.
But the really big caveat in all of that, is the delineation between who has what Constitutional rights coming from the bill of rights.
Article III citizens vs. what you get from the immigration side.
Immigration judges do not adjudicate from the bill of rights. They adjudicate from the immigration laws.
The rights listed in the bill of rights do not directly apply to non citizens. However, courts sometimes argue and rule that they do.
Remember I said sometimes.
But when push comes to shove, a court case that may make a determination to stop some immigration deportation activity or stop ICE
from enforcing the laws in the streets that Congress put on the books…
That's not an Article III court decision to be made…
And that's why the Supreme Court overturned all of those decisions, immigration is under the executive branch and the Article III judges can no longer make rulings like that.
All Article II immigration cases and issues are under Marco Rubio, and Donald Trump.
I too was led to believe Good and Pretti were murdered.
Until I saw this analysis by Tim Pool and now by Andrew Branca.
The way every one who posts “murder” and now “Maga”, simply because I've seen something I can not unsee…
I am saying - with these videos as damping strong proof exists in these videos - the “murder” charges may never stick.
We are all tired of how so many wrongs get pointed out. But nobody ever gets arrested or charged. Literally, no one except possibly Donald Trump's been in front of more judges than you, can shake a stick at.
There's always more to the story.
And I've looked back at some of what MS-NOW has said, and CNN, PBS ,WaP, NY Times have published… and I say to myself, why did they skip over these parts?
Why?
What's brewing under the surface here?
To me it's not even a case of being right or wrong. It's how did I let myself be manipulated into these directed conclusions?
No one likes to feel manipulated, and I must say, after reviewing the videos I found these clips sobering.
What I've seen, and you've said you've seen … I'm really starting to believe that there's a lot of news that we aren't being shown, and there's a reason behind it.
Based on your comments, I'm sure you didn't watch any of the video postings I put up.
You wrote me off as a Maga-Tard, and want to simply dismiss anything I have to say, because you've put me in that box.
All i'm trying to say is the evidence fallsa akķoesn't seem under strict scrutiny to support a case where renee good and alex brady will win any of their lawsuits.
And whether you want to believe the evidence or not.
I would certainly be impressed if you watched the videos and came back with a wow. I never saw that before.
Or … “yeah? I saw that. But I disagree, I think it's still a good case for the people being murdered…”
That's fine, because that shows you've at least weighed it.
Self Defense Court experienced attorney Andrew Branca, discussing the liability and self defense arguments in both the Renee Good shooting, and the Alex Pretti shooting.
…
That has absolutely nothing to do with MAGA or DSA issues.
It has everything to do with properly reviewed and presented facts and nothing tells facts better than actual videos.
Would you agree/
I found it’s a big mistake watching the exact same videos from activists and paid politically bent podcasters, including MSM - if they have an outcome they are trying to guide you to…
That’s not “Court Ready”
But it sure is politically prejudicial.
I asked myself, who fears the protection of our laws in this country?
Who is out to pander to illegal foreigners who don’t want to conform to our society, but create their own?
And why do foreign illegal “migrants” get all of the programs, and tax dollars, that could be going toward Single Mothers, Veterans and the Homeless, who need social services as emotional and financial support more than an uninvited person who may even wish, or worse - perform harm to these same citizens?
Why would it be powerful to convince a whole lot of people that ICE is nothing but storm troopers, bad cops, not trained, and deadly killers?
Don’t we have immigration laws, historically written by our Democrats in Congress?
Is this narrative today a play to convince people through emotional manipulation to give these very politicians POWER to change laws and raise even more taxes to support everyone BUT the people who they themselves took an oath to represent and protect?
Don’t the politicians have a LEGAL mandate, taken in their oath of office to work for the American Citizens?
I note from the words you used in your response that you show me and are admitting you did not watch the video links I posted here, right?
If so… Fair enough, for you.
Getting back to just the Renee Good and Alex Pretti cases, these require you to watch and listen with an open mind - as a jury and judge would do when this comes to court.
What I have given you here are selected videos from someone who took the evaluation to one where the outcome was NOT pre-ordained. The situation HAS to be properly investigated, and with my court filings experience, I know what evidence is and how to present it.
Tim Pool did the best job examining the vehicle movement and wheel spin, which all the long distance videos don’t show.
I've watched all sorts of videos from many different angles.
For example - Here I posted a very special video, where experienced Self Defence Attorney and Author Andrew Branca sits with Tim Pool and they go over the legal issues in both the Renee Good ad Alx Pretti shootings, an we see here how a lawyer and a court would see the evidence presented in these videos.
The whole point of the lawsuit is to get the facts behind the shooting public.
At the very least, is it not worth your time to review what the defense is likely to use to build their defense case?
That’s up to you.
I’ve already done my homework.
I’ve seen the MS-NBC review, the Axios and ProPublica reviews, and I’ve seen the usual Left “leaning” points - and they look at the same video, and bypass what Tim Pool did not.
For that alone, it's worth looking at.
If you are dismissing any argument on what I say because YOU have labeled me “MAGA”, I think you should know that I have NEVER voted for Donald Trump.
I voted twice for Barack Obama.
As a New Yorker who was forced to leave New York after the Towers fell, and after what Hillary Clinton said on the news naming a better target for the Terrorists, I could NOT vote for her, no way. That's a whole another story. Patrick Moynihan was by far a better Senator for New Yorkers than she could ever be.
Your apparent utter lack of trying to actually WATCH the videos and taking an open minded, not prejudiced, and not pre-assumed attitude evaluation - speak to your well worn armour of total anti-ICE no-matter-what, written as prejudicial, bigoted follower-not-leader attitude.
Please watch the video, and stop the labelling and ad hominem attacks. It’s unbecoming of you and does not represent the better character I am sure you have.
It’s amazing how certain regions of the United States voted for policies that would make everyone hate them. They weren’t trying to help anyone. They were voting to dominate and destroy places like Minneapolis, and we’ve spent all this time trying to figure out how we could Reach across the aisle to them.
Now instead of admitting what they did, they are targeting our Federal Judges.
And still, the cities have no recourse. We’re on our own.
Just praying for karma, and hoping the Republicans can’t incite enough hatred to get their wish of unleashing the military on us.
I’m not a lawyer. But I believe there’s grounds for a class action lawsuit for all those deprived of their civil rights by losing their lives are incarcerated in ICE concentration camps. Make them pay through the nose
But… her mother was/is(?) a Trump supporter. Not that it takes away from the tragedy, but did/does she feel the same about the others being unjustifiably murdered? Just curious.
~ Renee Good's partner said the ICE shooting "was her fault". As her partner yelled for her to "drive baby drive"
~ video breakdown as reported on the Tim Pool podcast was excamined and found that frame by frame shows Renee Good turning her vehicle while backing up so that it pointed at the ICE Agent.
~ And when she begn accllerating her wheels were pointed straight forward at the agent.
~ And ,as well, she did hit th agent, as seen from multiple angles- pushing him backwards on the frozen covered road.
Tim Pool also posted a 12 minute video of a Self-Defense Lawyer explaining how the Agent's shooting wasself defense.
Which is why I kept looking and found these vehicles.
You're the one drinking the media's (and others) propaganda meant to make you angry as well as add you to the "Put your Body in the way" Martyr pool...
You need to watch, including this one, which shows whaat happens when an officer is run over by a driver asked to stop...
I would love to see Alex Pretti's family do the same!
Me too!
And all other victims of ICE actions.
The stupid idiot comments here and thinks we’ll allow his garbage point of view to stand. Go away, Brian.
This one really stays with me. Renee Good was a mother of three. Whatever anyone’s politics are, her children have to live the rest of their lives without their mother, and that human reality should never disappear underneath political arguments.

Maybe there's a drama queen in the Whitehouse trying to distract from embarrassing photos with sex trafficked children?
Murdering someone kills an embarrassing news cycle.
I hope they win and take them to the cleaners!
Show her how we care and miss her. Bring her justice ⚖️ Alex, too and all the others💙🌎✌️✨️🪶🌈
I’d like to see the mofos who murdered them receive the same treatment from the public. Those vile heinous agents deserve the same — if not worse.
Go for it - put those people in jail
Who is tired of watching the FAMILY VICTIMS of murder have to fight for professional investigations, and DUE PROCESS?
Meee! 🙋🏻♀️
LET'S FUCKING GO!!!!!
