One of the great things about having a daily podcast with your bestie, Dana DuBois, is that you get to focus entire episodes on featuring each other’s writing! Yesterday we spoke about Dana’s piece on her lifetime love affair with the band The Cure, and today we dug into the nuts and bolts of my latest spec-fic piece, The Book of Deek.
Dana is a great interviewer, and so we dug into everything from my friendly non-binary Muse, who shows up and delivers stories to me, fully formed, to the themes that permeate the story, as well as secret wishes and long-held dreams.
