Five months after the Online Rape Academy exposed men for drugging and raping women as a shared hobby, Manchester gives us the offline version. I guess we have to keep learning the same fucking thing.
Stomach churning. He didn’t approach one man—ONE?—who said no and blew the whistle on the whole thing? As for the rapists—they know enough to want to keep their malicious behavior secret, but I continue to be struck by the apparent fact that men (most men, including judges and juries) just don’t think rape is that bad.
He seemed normal. Maybe because this is definitely more normal than it should be. Given that not one man called the police, they all thought it was tolerable. So he seemed normal and will keep seeming normal til men are willing to call each other out.
Of course algorithms keep these stories from reaching the feed of men. Just us victims! How do we get this information to MEN so the good ones can police and shut this shit down!

This is horrific. This type of thing has stopped surprising me, but I refuse to let myself stop feeling the horror. 💔
Yes! I agree with you. Prosecute them all.
😡😡😡🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀 (I am usually somewhat articulate but not after reading that)
I witness this story with anger and grief.
Yikes. So horrible. And I ask what happens when it becomes normalized? It’s seems to be getting closer to that.
It is normalized. That's why these men rarely get jail time. They get forgiven and "rehabilitated" though nothing more than time passing.
I would say it's been normalized since the beginning.
